Who we are

This website, https://expacednb.com, is the official website of Expace, a drum & bass artist based in Finland. For anything related to your personal data, you can contact us at hello@expacednb.com.

What personal data we collect and why

Booking form

When you send a booking request through the form on this site, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, event date, venue/city, and your message. This information is sent to us by email and is used only to respond to your inquiry and handle the booking. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Cookie consent

This site uses a consent management tool to ask for your permission before setting non-essential cookies. Your consent choice is stored so the site can respect it on future visits. Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser information) for security and error-tracking purposes. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from). Analytics runs only if you accept statistics cookies in the consent banner. IP addresses are anonymized, and we do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors. Data is processed by Google; you can read Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The Vault

To access the free downloads page, we ask for your email address. We store it and may use it to send you occasional emails about new releases, gigs or other information related to Expace. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to delete your address by emailing hello@expacednb.com. We do not share these addresses with anyone.

We also keep an anonymous count of how many times each track has been downloaded; this is a simple total and is not linked to you or your email address.

Embedded content from other websites

This site embeds music players from SoundCloud and Spotify. These players are blocked until you accept the relevant cookies in the consent banner. Once loaded, embedded content behaves as if you had visited that service directly: SoundCloud and Spotify may collect data about you, use their own cookies, and track your interaction with the player, especially if you are logged in to an account with them.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Booking inquiries are delivered to us through our email and hosting providers, who process the data only on our behalf. Embedded services (SoundCloud, Spotify) receive data directly from your browser only after you give consent through the cookie banner.

How long we retain your data

Booking inquiries are kept as normal email correspondence for as long as needed to handle the booking and any follow-up, after which they may be deleted. Cookie consent records are kept for as long as required to demonstrate that consent was given.

What rights you have over your data

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to or restrict its processing, and receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@expacednb.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Finland, this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if the site’s features change. The current version is always available on this page.
